THE VIDHYAM-SIS has a fully equipped infirmary, wellness zone, an essential feature of every school. It is meticulously handled by an experienced doctor, who is expert in addressing first-aid and other medical treatments. The wellness zone is packed with nebulisers, inhalers, oxygen cylinders and availability of the most vital medicines that are kept refrigerated at all times. A proper health record of each student is well maintained through checkup rounds taken by the doctor continually which is shared with the parents by the end of each academic session. The school also organises an annual eye and dental check up for instilling in our students the importance of eye and dental hygiene.

The subjects formally introduced at this level are English, Hindi, Math, International Primary Curriculum/ GES, Computer Science, Art & Craft, Physical Education, Science (Grade 5), Ill Language Sanskrit/ (introduced in grade 5).

The school diligently follows the CBSE guidelines at the Senior Secondary Level. The pattern will be followed like in college, each subject will be headed by a specialist teacher as HOD who will monitor level of growth of each student in that subject on regular basis. If needed special classes will be conducted for poor performing students. Regular test in each subject will be conducted. From Standard 9th onwards special classes will be formed for students who are going to choose Engineering, Medical, Legal and Management as their career. Grouped Classroom Experiments are activities where a number of students work in groups on carefully designed in guided inquiry and interactive questions.
Cooperative Learning involves structuring classes in small groups that work together in such a way that each group member's success is dependent on the group's success. There are different situations, but they all balance some that distinguish cooperative learning from competitive or individualistic learning.
Effective Role Plays are an effective method of getting the message across. In most role-playing exercises, each student takes the role of a person affected by an issue and studies the impacts of the issues on human life and/or the effects of human activities on the world around us from the perspective of that person. More rarely, students take on the roles of some phenomena, such as part of an ecosystem, to demonstrate the lesson in an interesting and immediate manner.
Projects & Models are an effective teaching tool. The models are used as demonstrative tools to explain a particular concept. Once the child creates his/her own project, it is easier for the child to internalize the concept as learning by doing is the best way to learn.
Context-rich problems are short realistic scenarios giving the students a plausible motivation for solving the problem. The problem is a short story (beginning with "you") in which the major character is the student. Context-rich problems are more complex than traditional problems, reflecting the real world, and may include excess information, or require the student to recall important background information.
Interactive Lectures are an easy way for instructors to intellectually engage and involve students as active participants in a lecture-based class of any size. Interactive lectures are classes in which the instructor breaks the lecture at least once per class to have students participate in an activity that lets them work directly with the material.
